Echo with an article that Phil may be a doubt

    Comment

We should still be winning without a couple of players. Origi, Sturridge, Ejaria, Grujic and Stewart are all great players and can offer something different.

When Shaggy posted that Wijnaldum might come in for Lallana, that was my first assumption.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

          FFS I hate international breaks
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho was pictured going into the city's Spire Hospital on Thursday. It is thought the Brazil international, 24, was having a scan on an injury that leaves him doubtful for Saturday's match at Southampton. (Liverpool Echo)

This is going to be an Interesting game.

Let's see how good we are without two key players.

              I'm optimistic.

Coutinho's scan yesterday was precautionary - tight hamstring

Is he fit or just shirking?

Only that it wasn't a break. Sounds like there is ligament damage though. No word yet on if he has had an MRI etc.

Whatever injury he has it looked a bad one so it's safe to say that's his season over.

There's a good 6 months of it left.

Could be anything from a bad sprain to broken. We'll probably find out tomorrow.
