If it's ligament damage which it highly likely is then it will be months so I do feel his season is over with personally. I hope not of course as he's going to be massively missed.

I thought you'd be glad to see the back of his 'cry baby' face?Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostIf it's ligament damage which it highly likely is then it will be months so I do feel his season is over with personally. I hope not of course as he's going to be massively missed.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That's not too bad if true, I was fearing it would be months rather than weeksOriginally posted by pondus View PostOut for a month according to liverpool.noThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Don't know why they are bothering with a scan...

Would be fairly extreme to keep him out for 6 months.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostIf it's ligament damage which it highly likely is then it will be months so I do feel his season is over with personally. I hope not of course as he's going to be massively missed.
Even 3 months would be bad but even then he'd still be back for the final 3 months.
Dont forget, Origi was stretched off with ankle ligament damage in late April and was still back playing before the end of last season.
Wait for the scan before ruling him out..

Depends what exactly hes done to the ligamentsOriginally posted by Pepe79 View PostWould be fairly extreme to keep him out for 6 months.

A tear/rupture could put him out for a month or two or more (depending on how severe the grading of the tear)Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Exactly. Even the most severe grading, a complete rupture is usually 3 months rehab. So talk of 6 months is extreme at this stage.Originally posted by Lecter View PostDepends what exactly hes done to the ligaments

Well it is Slinky suggesting this and he is a little excitable at the best of timesOriginally posted by Pepe79 View PostExactly. Even the most severe grading, a complete rupture is usually 3 months rehab. So talk of 6 months is extreme at this stage.
That said we just dont know the extent of the injury
I've suffered a few ligament tears and ruptures on my ankle when I was playing semi pro football and I was out a hell of a lot longer than 3 months. However that was 20 plus years ago and I didnt have any physio nevermind the treatment that modern professionals haveBob Paisley - "This club has been my life.
