Only time I really enjoy watching the team is when Coutinho is playing. When he hasnt played I've spent half my time on my phone. IF he gets sold I'll probably just catch the score the next day and spend my time doing something a little more worthwhile. Pretty much the same thing I did when Alonso was sold.

I think in a honesty £120m is good money for Coutinho.

But the worry I have is that even with all that money we won't know how to replace him.

Couldn't agree more. I'd only consider selling if we were able to improve the team as a whole. That's absolutely not possible now, perhaps not in the next year or so either

It's a stupid amount of money but at the minute it could be only one good player + a mid range player. We don't seem to have any players on the radar and none of the players other PL teams are targeting seem to to be the type we need (I'm using this as a proxy for players whose agents make it known they might be on the market).

Right boys and girls, this is what I know. Forgive the vaugness, i just dont want anyone to get into trouble, but my source is good.

Not too long after Rogers took over he tried to install a (kind of) code of silence in the club, so the lad became a bit reluctant in telling anything etc. Not spoke to him in a couple of years (as I had to give up Sunday footy) and felt a bit cheeky asking him out the blue, but Cou is my favorite player, so what are you going to do!?

Right thats the background out of the way...so Barca bid 100mill Euros, we said no, they came back with £100mill and we called a board meeting. Most of the board agreed to no sale, but there ones that did. They fully expect (which I reckon, but this is me just guessing, the whole Tuesday thing) Barca to come back with a bid we cant refuse. They have also threatened to move on to other targets (fingers crossed). So Cou was left out of the friendly, just in case. Theres a mini kind of battle going on in as much that - Klopp and board members have said they want to keep him and he plays V Watford. Others are saying keep him out of the game in case he picks up an injury and then any deal would fall through.

So my take on it, and again this is pure guess work, if he plays on Sat he will stay regardless of the bid, if he doesnt then I think we are waiting for Barca's huge bid.

On of the things you may have read which has got legs is Lanzini of West Ham. He would be bought in as Cou's replacement.
