Barcelona’s charm offensive towards Philippe Coutinho has continued with one Barca player confident the deal is going to happen.
Recent recruit Paulinho has already informed the Liverpool man about “the basic information” concerning the La Liga club.
Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta have already made their admiration for the 25-year-old Brazilian clear and now Paulinho has had some interesting things to say about Coutinho, who was on target in last night’s 5-0 win over Swansea.
“I make jokes that people are already looking for a house for him,” Paulinho told Mundo Deportivo. “I try to give him the basic information, the most important for him and his family, because maybe the time he lived here was not enough to know the city.
“But he knows that Barcelona is a very good city, that offers everything for him and his family.
“I already explained to Coutinho how Barça is. I talked to him about training, the facilities, the players. The way the players received me was incredible.
“Coutinho knows that there are great players, like Suarez, with whom he met at Liverpool and he gets along very well, he is a person who always tries to help.
“Now we have to wait until the transfer can be made in January to come here.”
Coutinho remains on the radar of Ernesto Valverde after the club saw three bids for the player rejected in the summer.
Earlier this month the Barcelona-published Mundo Deportivo claimed Barca would make a €145million January bid for Coutinho, and suggested Coutinho had asked to leave Anfield again.

I'm not sure you can report Barca because their players are giving interviews (in which they are probably asked these questions) or because his NT team-mates and friends are speaking to him about Barcelona.
You need proof that Barca officials spoke to Coutinho without our permission or something like that...

Didn't we supposedly reject something around that figure in the summer and he's improved since then. Tell them to jog on.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

More than anything I just want us to play them in the CL this season. They have no class or principals, and this carefully constructed PR exercise has been an embarrassment to what I always thought was an institution of a club (not anymore)."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball."
