Coutinho will not be “fit” for the the FA Cup game on Friday vs Everton. On future: LFC’s tone has changed -it seems they are open to all the options. Sell now, sell now for the summer. Keeping him beyond then seems the very last option. But no offer from FBC has arrived... yet

Mahrez is a good player but only half as good as Phil. Problem is Leicester will want 2/3 of Coutinho money mid season.

What would be the point in him leaving now? Players bellyache all the time that they want to play in the Champions League. We're in the knockout stages. If he goes to Barcelona this transfer window he will be cup tied, then he watches from the stands, his living room, or plays himself on his playstation.

My world footballing knowledge is not what it used to be but i'm sure we could find someone capable of doing a similar job for an affordable fee

For a start if we can keep Lallana fit for the majority of the second half of the season it will soften the blow
