Gutted he’s gone. Even more so this window. I’ll be absolutely pissed off if further incomings haven’t been agreed yet as we are in a strong position for a good league challange & CL run in the 2nd half of the season.

Only way the club can appease the fans is at least 2 new first team signings this window.

Dont't understand the hate - you can't deny someone their dream, we made a massive profit, he gave us 4 good years and there is no reason for him to want to stay and retire with LFC. I wish him well but not his new club - VVD the same to come us, it's just the way it is now.

One thing that's flying under the radar a little is the 36m in add-ons, they've been called realistic add-ons, but to what extent and when are they likely to be realised. Nothing is certain in football. So at the moment, we're only £105m richer, or FSG are more to the point.

                      Only £105m

"Barcelona have put together a package worth a basic fee of £106m, plus a further £36m in variables, of which £26m should be easily met. After the £105m basic, an additional £17m would be payable for the first 100 games Coutinho plays for Barcelona, £4.4m per 25 games. A further £4.4m would be paid for Champions League qualification in the first two seasons with a £4.4m bonus for winning the competition. Coutinho has agreed a five-and-a-half-year deal worth £12.1m a season."

Seems realistic to get most of that to me.

OK, so if Barcelona don't win the CL in the next two years, excluding this one presumably then it's £130m, not £140m. And we may have to wait two years for the lot.

I think it's an OK deal, i believe the contribution from Nike was involved and i reckon that's about all Barcelona could muster. How/if it will be spent will be interesting (if it hasn't already).

Because he went on strike. Twice. He's a cunt no doubt about it but on the other hand no point dwelling.

We got a great chunk of cash for him and it's time to move on.

                            We'll survive just fine.

He's paid for Keita and VVD to fill back up the kitty and also chucked in an extra 20m. Good business.

We can afford for Klopp to finish off his dream team now
