Again suspect at set pieces... to be fair we looked dodgy in defence whole game. Carragher and Gerrard were outstanding though. Take the point but really we threw two vital points away.

We really can't deal with teams pressing us, we sat back and invited them onto us which proved costly. We should be doing more of the pressing

Good point that, when all's said and done. The need for a commanding centre half grows more obvious by the game though, as does the need for a better tactical plan for defending free kicks and corners until we have that centre half. The team has a mental issue too, and doesn't react well to setbacks. Partly that's confidence, but I also think we lack leaders in the team.

Always tough to go there though, and that was a decent performance against a team that outclassed us at home earlier in the season. Rodgers showing signs of learning and adapting to suit the opposition?

Rodgers needs to take a good hard look at our wafer thin midfield and get a big DM player in and like has been said we need a big dominating CD to lead the defence.

Only seen the second half, but from that I think we should be happy with the one point. We stood to far back on the pitch to control the game. A though half for most of the players, and when both Suarez and Gerrard starts giving the ball away to easy it's uphill.

Thankfully we held on to the lead, and almost took the victory in the end. And it was more than just the 2 minutes of poor defending, we were running after the ball for the last 45 min more or less.

Good point thogh in a match we could not afford to loose.

I thought before the game we needed to win if we wanted to push on for 4th and after the way the game went I can't help but feel we've just missed our chance. Rodgers has got a lot to answer to there for me, 2-0 up 60 minutes gone and we look like we have no plan. Just 'hoping to ride it out' isn't good enough for me! Close ranks, FINE. But that was poor, we lacked leadership/character and in truth we probably didn't deserve the point in the end which for me shows how bad it was.

For me now, Europa league spot needs to be secured and we have to hope Suarez stays. If he wants CL football next year, its not happening unfortunately! We're maybe a year short of a proper challenge, progress but still massive room for improvement.

We need proper defensive organisation. Its great to defend with the ball but what about when we don't have the ****er.
