Giroud's passing was excellent in the box. His finishing may let him down, but his interplay was excellent.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostOf course it is. I should have said Giroud is **** but our defence makes him and would make carroll look like world beaters.

I think Arsenal are fairly similar to us to be honest, bit better going forward though.Originally posted by el matador View Postthey're a bunch of pussies that get bullied all over the pitch. We should have shut up shop and killed that game.
We are **** defensively.
Everyone gives Giroud stick but he's scored good few goals for Arsenal and been much better than i thought. Carzola is a magician, Wilshere one of the most promising English talents in a long time and Walcott is turning into a class player with his production. Podolski has done very well too production wise.
They are as much bottlers as we are. But i would never say their not a very good side.

They are clearly a better side than we are. I know that's not saying much. But they're definitely not ****.Originally posted by danperkins View PostI think Arsenal are fairly similar to us to be honest, bit better going forward though.

Your making no sense.Originally posted by marksared View PostzSo who did we play against when Downing was on this terrific run?
Its up to the manager to utilize the squadvat his disposal and Suso is a better option.
Rodgers roaring keep the ball.........Downing was the main culprit in conceding possesion needlessly in key areas, shocking performance
When has Suso had a good run to prove he's a better option?
Yes Downing isn't good enough but Sterling has been out of form and Suso didn't quite look ready. We're left with a choice between Downing and Borini. Borini has been out for a few months and his first start back was against Oldham and he look so rusty its untrue and even before that showed no form at all.
Coutinho is here now, he's another option but today was a no choice situation really, it had to be Downing.Vive la France

He did OK within his usual parameters, and the team was more compact and geared to defend; it's a lot easier for a defender in the box when the opposition is trying to walk it in and he has several team mates on hand in the area to help. Yet Arsenal still scored two, created other good chances from open play and were always a threat from crosses/set pieces, so what real difference has his inclusion made?Originally posted by rcasemore View PostI hope you will also recognise that Carra played well then
