That's my percption too. That's why it would be interesting to see the stats which I mentioned above. Particularly in order to compare how we fair compared to the teams that are best at defending them.
    Oh I don't know.

Neither setup is better than the other really.

I'm struggling to find any data of note whilst juggling work and supping a top, top mug of Yorkshire Tea. However, I have come across this:

EDIT: I can't embded the information.

        Who Scored? Premiership Statistics

Offensively, we seem to be bossing it (no surprise, I hear you say):

19.3 shots per game, 5.6 on target etc

Defensively, we allow 11.5 shots per game, ranked 16th (out of 20, obv).

Maybe our midfield is to shoulder some blame?

        I'll keep digging.

I think our midfield has been a big problem this year, they don't offer enough going forward, and they offer little protection to the defence, you could maybe live with not being great defensively if they offered a huge attacking threat or vice versa, but we seem to have the worst of both for much of the season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I've screenprinted the text manuscript between me and a mate. Called the pelanty and that we'd concede from their only attack, and that I knew we'd lose at 0-0.

I think a lot us did.

It's called déjà-vu, and having limited faith in the true quality of the current side.

We concede great chances, usually from corners, every game. Key factor is whether opposition take advantage. This time they did. Against city they didn't. Everybody harped on about how good we were in that game, and we 'looked' great but we could easily have lost 4-2 - we got lucky.

We have been progressing lately but we are a bit of a soft touch and it needs sorting.

It's hard to watch, good performances raise expectations and then we get that ****e. Be easier if we were just **** all the time.

Brendan Rodgers have to solve this. Otherwise we'll not make it even in the Europa lg next season.
