Absolutly magnificent performance - not much else to say really. Outplayed them in every department, and could have scored close to twice the amount of goals we did.

I still believe we are building something very good here, but we just have to occasional off day and still need to execute a bit better in front of goal.

We are getting there though...

Swansea manager Michael Laudrup: "It was a nightmare, we got slaughtered out there. First half we were still in the game but to give away three goals like that in 10 minutes at the start of the second half was terrible, we have to say sorry to the fans."

On making changes ahead of the League Cup final: "Only in a couple of positions. I wanted to leave a few out but that's not an excuse, we could have lost 10-0. We are all to blame, starting with me and the players.

"Michu and Ashley Williams were left out ahead of the final but that's only a part of it, there were a lot of good players out there. In the last two and a half months we have made a lot of changes and we have been competitive.

"You can't play like that. We just have to go, it wasn't what we wanted in the build-up to the final but it's what we go so we have to get back on the horse."

Didn't see the game but naturally delighted with the result. Would be so nice to add some consistency between now and the end of the season. If we do, we can still salvage this season.
