"It's unfortunate. It's actually the other shoulder to a similar injury he had when he was at Chelsea," Rodgers told the Anfield club's post-match press conference.
it was an under strength swansea team in case anyone forgot as you will obviously be reminded in every newspaper report every sky sports report every bbc report and possibly on match of the day as the mail has it at least 5 times in there match report
That was such an enjoyable game. Great to see Coutinho getting a goal - he'll have been relieved after missing the gaping goal in the first half. Thought he played really well.

MOTD2 should be predictable.

Swansea are a bit too nice though, we completely dominated them, **** all physicality to their game. We need to 'man up' a bit more against tougher grittier teams.
I love the way Sturridge dragged the ball back to make the pass to Enrique. A lot of players would have tried to wrap their foot around the ball. Very good technique there!
Great result, but lets not forget it was against the Swansea reserve side.
Would be nice to put more teams to the sword like this. We were practically unplayable at times.
While nice, I think we need to reign it in a bit here..............some of the posts floating around regarding this performance, Coutinho's LFC career, Suarez' place among the best to have ever played the game etc etc, are a wee bit OTT.
We tend to have exaggeration issues on this site most of the time, but when results like this happen, it can go into overdrive.

Bit like when we lose a game and people want to sack the world.
