Many premier league teams are in for some damage now. Enrique, Lucas, Gerrard, Suarez, Sturridge all firing on full cylinders. Even with our defensive lapses we are going to murder teams.

    We gonna cause some P.A.I.N!

an envelope with shelveys name is being added to the pile as we speak

the lad needs to go on another loan to get some confidence and consistency to his game.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

In general though, i think we are heading in the right direction. People state that we are having our worst season in 85 years and blah blah blah but i genuinely feel that we are getting better and better each week. Since Sturridge arrived, this progression as a team has been even more rapid...

For the first time since the best of Rafa's time at the club, i am actually enjoying and excited watching LFC play. I'm enjoying the style of play and watching us progress. Under Kenny, (especially in his interim time - when he had an attack of Maxi, Meirales, Suarez, Gerrard, Kuyt) it was there as well but only in patches...... under B-Rodge, it seems to be consistently getting better and better and the football is enjoyable to watch......loads of posession and attacking......

What i would like to see in the summer is:

                  1. An experienced central defender added. Hopefully one that could fill in at left back as well. I'm thinking something like Gallas when he went from Chelsea to Arsenal.........a Jagielka style player that will take no crap, can fill in a few positions but is primarily a centre back....... and won't get cheesed off too much if he is moved about a little bit.....
                  2. An experienced central midfielder that can come on and make sure we are calm when defending leads, can help the likes of Allen and Lucas close out a game and knows how to dictate the pace of a game. Xabi would be brilliant but it's not going to happen. Scott Parker would also do the job but again i can't see it......
                  3. Another striker. If we don't get offered more than £15m for Carroll (which we probably won't get being honest) then i would bring him back in. For the last 15 mins of games we are chasing then he offers us a plan-B if nothing else. If we do sell Andy, (i have funny feeling that Spurs will buy him...to replace Adebayor) then we should go all-out to get someone that can play with Suarez / Sturridge but also on his own. Someone like Dzeko would be dreamland.......as would Michu........ maybe someone like Gary Hooper would be more realistic........
                  4. Maybe another midfielder - to replace Shelvey who should be loaned out or Henderson, who may be sold (i hope he isn't because i think over time - 10 years or so - he will be a very handy player for any team)
                  5. Tom Ince......
                  6. Replacement goalie if Reina goes.....if rumours that Arsenal want him are true, then we should insist on Chesney (!) in part-exchange..... otherwise, the likes of Begovic, Forrster should be looked at - please not Al Habsi!!!

I have an uneasy feeling though that we will be saying the same thing next year having bought McCarthy from Wigan, Tom Ince, Franco di Santo and that Mirin centre back from France.......

                  We need experience......

No, no and infinite more no to bringing Carroll back. There isn't enough no for that abomination of an idea

Andy Carroll is the answer to only one question -

Torres at least had years of scoring at the highest level, the World Cup, European Championships final, Champions League and the quickest player to 100 goals in LFC history

Big Andy lumped a few in for Championship Newcastle and bustled some headers against less physical defences in the Premier League.

                          Andy wins it hands down.
