Great game and Coutinho looks very promising. He tracked back and intercepted really well.

I can't wait to catch a replay. Damn this not having pay TV.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Really good performance. The early goal made a huge difference.

We need to back this up and burst the Spurs bubble next time out. It could be a cracker. We are due to get something out of one of these big games sooner or later?

Aswell as Reina, Allen seems to be on his way back. It was a quiet, but effective performance.

Agreed, played well, some of his footwork to get out of having 2 or 3 players around him was brilliant.

I think I spent most of the second half just singing that Coutinho song!

              "Coutinho o o o
              Coutinho o o o
              Coutinho o o o
              Coutinho o o o"

              So simple yet so brilliant!

Great result, absolutely blitzed them in the first half, after a poor display in first half Wigan came played much better in the second but we had the game dead and buried.. something we should have done in so many previous.

Obviously Suarez was magnificent but thought Reina made some incredible stops, was really great to see. Coutinho was excellent in the first half too... although great team performance by us.

Don't dare predict anything optimistically (even remotely improbable) as you'll get **** on for unfairly raising expectations.

If we can build some momentum and go into the derby above or close to the bluenoses, that will be a cracking game. To have to listen to them parp about how they're going to break into the top four, to have them above us for the majority of the season and for us to leap frog them with two games to go would be *aces*.

Looking at the run in, a few years ago I would have been confident that we would have won all of them (if not against the actual teams, then the teams in their equivalent positions) - but its a proper rollercoaster this season. Brilliant when its brilliant and pretty awful when its not.

One thing this season isn't is boring!

                            Lol @ Everton.

If I was to bet I'd have it on us to finish above them all day long.

We lacked a cutting edge this season. Rodgers said he'd address that problem in the January window and fair play to him, he did. We look a completely different prospect with Sturridge & Coutinho.

Hope he shows a similar successful application when dealing with the defence in the summer.
