Thanjk you.

I've been thinking this for days. He'll play Downing from the start, not Coutinho. And he would probably be correct too. This is a tough game and Downing, who is playing quite well at the moment, does have greater experience and physique.
Thats quite a lot of time devoted to the Downing/Coutinho dilema. Some would say too much time ...
If Sturridge is fully fit, he will start. I'd be tempted to say Henderson will start on the left.
As many have said, Hendo has the energy to get up and down and can come inside when Sturridge or Suarez drift wide to bulk up the middle.
What I don't really want to see is Suarez starting out wide as against Arsenal where he will spend too much time tracking back.
Real test of Rodgers as a tactically astute manager this one. He really does have some difficult decisions ahead of him before Sundays game.
But it's a great testament to how far our squad has come to mention a starting XI without even considering Sterling, Shelvey & Suso who were all in the mix at the start of the season.
They are a decent team bit punching above their weight. Inter are nothing special this season (serie a is terrible at the moment) and i wouldnt consider today to be much of a big deal.
We will dominate them and beat them, we have the players to do it

Hope you are right V because we have got them bang in the middle of this crazy purple patch they are going through. I think this will be their hardest test and hope we get a bit of luck we might need on Sunday.

Even before kick off we are due a result against spurs too many times have they not turned up and managed to steal the points over the last 4 years about time them and their plastic fans got knocked off their high horse, you hear them giving lfc **** despite they have done absolutely **** all in their history and lived in Arsenals shadows in the mid 90's-2000's and only really been a top five club since 2009 and still havent really achieved any major success

At home we should dominate. Gerrard and Johnson will be the key men, G needs to dominate Dembele and get past him to start attacks. Bale will probably play behind Defoe so Holtby will play wide left for them and he is not a natural wide player at all so Glen Johnson has to take advantage and get up the wing.
Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge will not fear the spurs back line thats for sure
I actually think our midfield will be Lucas, Gerrard and Downing, thats providing that Sturridge is fit

How many times have we said that this season? On paper, maybe we "should" beat them (although I kind of disagree, I'd say our squads even out). But we've also completely fluffed it on several occasions where we should've technically won. I'm not holding my breath for this one. I'm hoping for a win obviously but I'm not taking it as a given.
I notice from the pics on the Beeb site that Bale was again booked for diving. Odds on that Suarez's diving will be mentioned more by the commentators though.
