We still have some obvious and oft exploited flaws, but we've improved attack wise a lot this season. Today probably typified the best and worst of us.

Yeah, defensively we still worry me but the players we have is what we've got, need to make some shrewd purchases in the summer - 2 CB's and I'd be tempted with looking at a DCM as well. Going forwards though more than happy with our options.

          Yeah but that's football.

I'm not sure why people expect us to dominate every game from start to finish. It rarely works that way.

Things went a bit wrong and they were rectified pretty efficiently.

Take the result...still wasn't great at times...half the players seemed to have just stopped now, we not catch Everton with performances like that in the remaining games.

Suarez was great, worked his socks off, a threat even when we were at our worst, coutinho shows some great football, great creativity. Suarez Clearly man of the match even if he does try a bit too much sometimes,

Amazed gerrard got sky's man of the match, penalty and world class clearance aside he was like the rest of the team today, mediocre at best.

Anyway...3 points in the bag, can go on an enjoy the rest of the weekend

he's so essential to our midfield as the others arent dynamic enough due to age (gerrard) and returning from injury (lucas)

Good thing is we're playing them at Anfield. I'm very confident about that match.

Good win. Excellent spirit, glad we didn't just sulk our way to the end of the season.

Last season we would never have come from behind to win a game, another sign that we're gradually improving under BR.

                          - Our defence needs to be overhauled this summer

                          - We need a powerful DM to give Lucas competition

It's true, if you watch Man Utd they win alot of games where they get a goal and they are poor for large parts of the game, but they do enough. Obviously that's not what we want to aim for, but it's easy for us to start moaning about how poor we are when we go through bad patches. But if you come out of the game with the three points you'd take performances like that - although while you're watching the game (and not knowing the outcome) it's not what you want to see.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Defended much better second half. Against Southampton Rodgers picked up the wrong formation. We should have had two players sitting like today.
                              Are we winning?

Mmm West Ham next and an 'in form' Carroll. Can he play against us?
