Great second half, could have and really should have been a bigger margin but I'm not going to complain.

They sorted it out, and it was as simple as stopping the ball going to Benteke.

on a side note, Suarez could nutmeg a mermaid.

Not happy with the final 20-25 minutes of the first half but we started the second half well and got ourselves back into the game quickly, looking back we were unlucky we didn't score more today tbh

I'm happy with that.

The first half wasn't great but nowhere near as bad as some made out. The second half, we just took control and suffocated it.

The result is the most important thing.

Good second half, but again this game showed our inconsistency, poor in one half good in another, we need to be able to perform at a more consistent level. It was hard to believe that that was the same team that came out second half.

First half performance was poor after a promising start. It looked like the players were sent out in the second half with a flea in their ear and were much better.

Really liking Coutinho, he'll be ace when he properly settles in.

The defensive side of the game is a big worry.

Can't believe how many nasty tackles Villa were putting in today. Never knew that they were bottom of the Fair Play league before today and its clear now why that is!
