You can see Suarez is getting fed up of being surrounded by players who can't be ****ed to put the effort in. Sturridge did absolutely **** all. Only tap in he managed got ruled out for offside and that wasn't even the easiest one. But to be fair, plenty more could have put more of a shift in but it ultimately comes down to management.
Like him or not, there's no denying the fact that Brendan Rodgers is tactically inept and has no back up plan. Yes, he's learning on the job, but NOBODY should be learning on the job at a club as big as ours.
Rome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.

Saw the game on MotD2. Thought we were unlucky to be honest and played quite well at times...

I could understand if a an assistant manager learnt the job but never the manager.

Like it or not, Rodgers is learning the job and we suffer because of that. How many points have we dropped this season because of that?

IMO if we would have signed up a more experienced manager then we would be in the top four.

We may or may not play excellent football in a year or two thanks to Rodgers but we don't know that.

We may finish the season something like 15 points off fourth. That is totally unacceptable. Not even in a learning season that is acceptable.

It is not nice knowing that Everton is now the big club in town.

see, we had an experienced manager in rafa and finished 7th.
we then had all the experience in the world with roy and it didn't get us anywhere.
after that, another experienced manager in kenny. didn't get us any closer to 4th, did it?

I said that a while ago, about BR learning his trade here and making mistakes along the process. Its quite simple, we either accept it and accept the fact he will inevitably make some errors but in the long term come good, or we (FSG) admit it has been a mistake and bring in an experienced proven Manager.

Personally, despite my frustrations I do not have that sense of failure for BR and I would hope he has at least one more season to prove that we are going in the right direction. I mean, next season will be make or break for a number of reasons, not just for BR so I do not for one moment expect him to go this summer and I would be very disappointed if he did.

And as for the last line Arn, that is such **** and I am sure you posted it in sheer frustration. I mean, really? FFS.

Rafa had Gillett and Hicks as owners. Do you honestly think that we would have finished in seventh if he would have had FSG as owners?

Rafa had to do two jobs. One as our manager and one to get Gillett and Hicks out of the club.

You can't compare Rafa's last season with this one. If you should compare then it should be Rafa's first season and not the last but even that is difficult because our academy was **** back then and now it is top class.

West Ham set up not to lose and Collins had a great game, we're a side currently rebuilding but there are some good signs we've improved quite a bit from the past few years in terms of performance.

We are still a few players short but hopefully we'll see these come in this summer and we can kick on.

The knee jerk posting on here sometimes is hilarious

I think too many people were taking too many touches and on the few occasions that bought themselves a yard of space they went back for seconds (what the **** is 'that' all about?). Very frustrating.

Everton will most probably finish above us again, second season in a row. They are the number one club in town now like it or not.

Rodgers will make mistakes but the problem is that he don't have a very good CV to back up his mistakes.

Rodgers should get another season but that season he must finish in the top four. No ifs or buts, top four is a must next season.

Of course, and that is where this line of discussion should end.

Everton is a small club, don't ever forget that mate, no matter how many times they manage to finish above us. Even Rafa knew that.

No agenda. I don't want Rafa back. I want Rodgers to stay but you can't compare Rafa's last season with this season, you simply can't.

The reason being that we had Gillett and Hicks as owners back then.

If someone would ask me if we would have won the league if Rafa would have had FSG as owners instead of Gillett and Hicks I would have said yes.

We would probably won it more than once and we would also play in a big new stadium and still play semifinals and finals in the CL.

Instead he had Gillett and Hicks as owners.

But that is in the past and what may have happened.

Rodgers should as I have already said get another season and that is the season he must deliver.
