So what did you expect? A cup and 5th-7th in the league?

Rome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.

That would have been a ridiculous expectation.

I have to disagree, cup runs are meaningless when your form was as atrocious as ours was.

At the end of the day, whether you're arsed about today's result or not, if you think this is good enough for us, you're, quite frankly, ****ing deluded.

Personally, I'm quite interested in hearing what FSG have to say about our ****e cup runs and ****e run in the league. Kenny was fired for less.

Matt it's old ground. Some prefer trophies, some don't. There is no winner.

Look at our squad, it is very thin and there is still not enough quality, your expectations and reality are a long way off. What you are after is just instant gratification.

As I said, acting no different to the Chelsea fans we mock for such behaviour.

Don't be silly, lots of teams get results like this .

                        Seriously, think before you post.
Thats bollox, we should have demolished that team, no excuses

Ok, if you say so. I mean no team has results like this in upper middle table region do they?

Not impressed with FS ****ing G or their appointment.. He should never of been interviewed for the job let alone offered it on his conditions.
Still I expect will will have another crap season before this is sorted out.

On a side note well done to Portsmouth .. Hope you have every sucess

Man U, in first by 12 points and **** loads more than that ahead of us, only beat them 1-0 at home a couple of weeks ago iirc.

Yes, its disappointing to draw 2 games against West Ham and Reading. But the way everyone acts like we should win all those game 6-0 every single time is rather silly and out of touch with reality. Easy game don't come along often in this league; we can go to QPR and win 4-0 then next week they win at Stamford Bridge. Yes we need to improve our squad and more consistently win games like that in this league but it is pretty unrealistic to assume there are no excuses at all for failing to beat teams every single time, especially away from home.

Anyone remember how many games we failed to win in Rafa's first league season? Rome wasn't built in a day etc....
