It's a wake-up call for us which could sharpen us mentally for next week, adding an extra intensity to training and focus.

Disappointing, but it might wake up some of the dolts.

It's a friendly and the only poor one we've had FFS

3 or 4 more players are needed.

Game over 1-0 loss. But we dominted the game, completely. Aspas and Coutinho not as effective against 'tougher' opposition but once we get Sturridge/Sterling/Ibe in and around them we'll be lethal.

Well, that wasn't much fun, was it?

The only friendly against a side who's not totally ****e.

Look, it's plain to see that we just don't have enough quality in the side. Our signings haven't improved the 1st team. It's the same side from last season, minus Suarez. I don't understand how people expect anything out of this group of players.

At least two first teamers required. Obviously!

                        That was very frustrating

Season's over before it has begun.

Against a well organised team, exactly the same type in which we were frustrated against last season
                            RIP IRWT post/rant, best ever

They are the only half decent side we've played and we looked flaky.

Same feeling as a lot of last season, looked good in parts, sluggish in midfield and lacking in ideas in the final 3rd. Especially from wide areas.
