If today highlighted anything it shows just how short of quality we are, Coutinho looks different class to anyone else on the pitch. We badly need 2 or even 3 quality additions because as it stands this is very much a 6th placed squad unless they all have blinders

Back at the hotel after the match and just thought I would add my bit:

Downing and Allen have no balls.
Enrique looks fat and slow in the flesh.
Coutinho is quality but sometimes tries to be too clever, plays one too many passes.
Aspas had a quiet game.
Wisdom got owned early on by Balde and didn't really recover.
Sturridge looked keen and just needs some game time.
Jordan Ibe is a tank for 17!

The thing that really pissed me off was how few chances we created. We would play it out to the right wing, get as far as the edge of the 18, come back, play it across to the other side, repeat and lose possession.

The atmosphere was good though and Dublin was good craic...

get a ****in grip ppl! Its a training session! What player is gona put in 100 percent and risk injury on a pre season warm up game with 1 week to go!
this game was an exhibition with all players told (id expect) to take it easy and not let hearts rule heads.

Look, it's plain to see that we just don't have enough quality in the side. Our signings haven't improved the 1st team. It's the same side from last season, minus Suarez. I don't understand how people expect anything out of this group of players.

Sorry mate but that is absaloute rubbish!
we scored plenty last year from midfield to attack and arguably weve improved both areas (if Suarez the vole stays)
goals will not be a problem this year
