Thanjk you.

im no fan of pepe for the past 2-3 years, but loan mig out and see how does. Pepe in for a year, get Begovic in 12 months time if pepe or mig doesnt come good
Yep........it's time for Brad to come in and lead us to the league.
Seriously.....I think it's only natural for a new keeper to have some moments but there is quite a few deficiencies to his game, but more alarmingly, there is a distinct and very noticeable difference between the Mig of the opening months of the season and the one in goal now.
Still a 6 at the moment.

Can't blame Mignolet for today's result. Truth is, our whole defensive unit needs to be sorted out. I don't think it's necessarily the personnel - it's more about shape and (especially) leadership. I think BR should appoint a quality defensive coach and 'keeper coach.
Re: today's game - two personnel changes, one positional change and a poor defensive midfield did nothing for Mignolet's confidence.
I don't want Pepe between the sticks again, he's been on the decline for a few seasons now.
Did the right thing with replacing him imo
It's always difficult to replace a keeper, but Pepe's time was over with us as he was never going to turn back time. That said, I'm not convinced we've improved as we'd have hoped to - at least initially - as Mig needs bedding in.
It was a switch that had monetary value though......as long as we're not making up Pepe's shortfall in wages long term.

Mignolet is a young 'keeper in his first season at a big club on a grander stage with an unsettled, ever-changing back four that flits between the sublime and the ridiculous. It's at this point, I think he deserves time to develop.
But then I watch us play and I find myself frustrated at his decision making. There was a moment towards the end of the game today, when Skrtel was shielding the ball for him to come off his line and take the pressure off the defence; Mignolet was rooted to his line, Skrtel had to clear for a throw-in (I think) and the pressure was still on. Then on other occasions - when you want him to hold his position - he's running off his line and swinging a misplaced punch in the direction of the ball.
Will this come with time? I'm sure it will. He doesn't fill me with confidence and despite his nose, he doesn't look the most courageous. If we're feeling it as fans, I'm sure the players will feel edgy too.
I dunno. If we had the opportunity to sign a decent 'keeper, I would like to think we'd be all over it.
To think the first 3 games of the season we were running out with 1-0 wins.
Exactly his performances were match winning, since then our entire back line has been decimated,a keeper needs needs faith in his defense and at the same time gains self confidence with a settled back line.
I don't know whether it's Mignolet suffering because of an unsettled back line or whether Mignolet's indecision and near total absence of any bravery whatsoever is making the defenders twitchy.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

How would you feel with this in front of you
jokes aside. Mignolets early season form has dipped at the same time as our defensive injuries occured,he's a young keeper who will get better
