Well, he's only No.1 by default, which no doubt annoys the **** out of Rodgers, but we've only to get through a couple more days before we can correct that mistake.

Any of these lads will be an improvement.

Actually, most of these guys are out of contract, which begs the question as to why they aren't already here emasculating Mig ?
WTF are you up to Brendan ?

IIRC, playing 3 at the back last year suited Mignolet. We seemed setup to let teams shoot from distance, confident in his shot stopping, keeping the box congested. Obviously this 3 at the back system is a lot more attack minded, but once our defenders get used to it, hopefully we’ll see an upturn in Mignolet’s form. Theoretically, our CB’s should be sitting deeper and we should be better equipped for dealing with crosses, so hopefully all Mig has to do is pull off the odd save, preferably from distance if teh defence do their job.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was going to say that I thought he was having a very good game up until the goal, and then his confidence went a bit again.

I do still think overall he played quite well and it was encouraging, but despite Fabianski’s nightmare performance, his passing accuracy was still more than double that of Mig, 66% to 30%.

Clean sheet against Leicester and hopefully he can kick on progress from here.

          Lad's he's crap.

I don't care what anyone says he is an awful GK and an awful footballer he really is, you can't make excuses for the way he plays yes his confidence is shot but he was poor before that.

Can't wait till we get someone else in.

Haha, there is no denying he’s ****, I was saying that from last year. But in the last 6 games he has kept 3 clean sheets and only conceded 3, so that’s something to take encouragement from.

The last time you tried to give him credit, was back in Novemnber, on the back of a 3 straight defeats, when he had kept 1 clean sheet in his last 14.

There were a few shots last night I've no doubt would have beaten Jones. Mig is ****e but he's all we've got right now and I'm glad it was him in goal last night and not Bradley.

Yup, he's the best option we have at the moment I do think we'll be in the market for a new keeper whether it's this Jan or in the Summer but essentially I think his time with us is coming to an end.

Two keepers liked to us in today's Guardian - from Lille and Sampdoria.

His passing / kicking was awful, who taught him to kick? So many of his kicks go really high up in the air but not very far up the pitch, one yesterday seemed to be up in the air for ages and came down about 30 yards from goal. It's one thing if his kicks lose us possession in the opposition half but if he hands possession back to the opposition 30 yards from our own goal that is a problem.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

His kicking is woeful, but no way is it as bad as he's currently showing, right now it's a confidence issue as much as anything. The fact that none of his mistakes resulted in a chance for them should give him a bit of confidence, so as I said, hopefully he can build from here.

I wasn't a fan last year, he never looked like a keeper that deserved to be in a title winning side, but at times it was good enough for a top 4 side which is all we need of him this year before he gets moved on.

Recent tactics have suited him more by the look of it. Hopefully his confidence will grow and he can salvage his Reds career

I thought his kicking was poor cos he kept trying to find the wing backs. Would much rather he just went for finding the opposition half...i realise we have no height up front to hit, but I'd feel much safer somehow, knowing the ball was that much further away.
