    Yup, I can relate.

Like a brand new signing. Won nearly everything he went for. Got great distance on the punching. Kicking was OK, however I'm not sure why can and skrtel kept knocking it back to him when they no its not his strongest point. Lazy on their part. Made some good saves. Unless there is an absolute top keeper out there, keep the mig in goal!

Fair play......done well today. Came for most balls well. Can probably point to not coming for the ball OTT, but I'd not level the blame at his feet IMO. Didn't stop Owen mentioning it though.

His improvement has been pretty amazing. Don't think he made a bad decision today and his authority on crosses is so much improved I can barely believe it. It's getting to a stage now where if he keeps this up we shouldn't have to buy a keeper in the summer. Amazing really.

It's one thing to give your opinion it's an entirely another thing to be vindictive and spew BS that won't help the player in anyway.

You can always be diplomatic and leave it to the club/manager to sort the player out.

At the very least we need a capable deputy.

Agreed. I think we should sell Jones and bring in that other Aussie, Matt Ryan is it? Never seen him play like but he appears to have a lot of potential and might be gettable for a reasonable fee. He'd surely give Mignolet greater competition.

Good performance from him again today - he looks decisive when the ball is crossed in with his handling and with his punching (how much better is his punching!?!?!??!?).

He did really well with the one on one with the Gayle scumbag too - really impressed with his resilience and mental toughness. Given the way he was hung out to dry and then bottomed out by being dropped for the worst keeper on the books at a Premier League club, his recent form is all the more impressive.

                        Nice one Simon.

What a stroke of luck that injury to Jones was. Bit of a ****ty thing to say like but whatever.

I Still don't think he's champions league quality but it's great to see him back on form and playing with confidence. Good work, Mig.

It's weird. I can't remember another manager who reversed as many alarming slumps in form as Brendan. A player used to hit a **** streak and it seemed they were on an inexorable path to Stoke or a **** team in La Liga.

He's done really well in taking players out of the team and them coming back with a vengeance, but it's hard to shake the feeling that at least with some of the personnel and also formation changes, Brendan's hand has been forced and it's paid off.

Still think he's doing a good job (and shame on you Shaggy for being a mid-season turncoat )
