He had one major flaw in that he flapped at crosses and he more or less prevented us from winning the title: his name was David James and he was eventually sold for this reason. To me, there is a massive similarity between David James and Mignolet. The Jesus like status Mignolet has acheieved is very premature. His inability to command the box on crosses will cost us points unless it improves. Reina really was not that bad a keeper. In fact from January onwards, he did very well. People really have weak memories.
Hard to argue with that. Yesterday he put two goal kicks straight out of play iirc, which isn't good. He's still preferring to punch/slap rather than catch and he's very quiet in open play. Lots of attributes that need to be improved.

Best signing of the summer anywhere.

Flawless today, not tested that much but saved what he had to, held everything and showed composure on the ball along with a few good long passes and no sliced clearances. Plus that turn

Reina would have let that shot in for sure
I have no idea what shot that imaginery person is referring too

You're forgetting the mix-up with Agger that could easily have led to trouble.

Looked a lot more composed for sure. Really promising.

His confidence is building with every clean sheet. After the match he stood out in the centre circle for absolutely ages applauding the fans, he looked absolutely pumped!

I wish that was true. I'm not arsed about his distribution. His ability from crosses is the biggest worry. But his reflexes are amazing. His performance against United was almost perfect. And that Nani shot - the mad ******* punched it away!

he has always preferred to punch it away. its ok provided it clears the box but would much prefer him to catch.

its nice knowing that even if someone gets through our defenders there is a reliable keeper ready and alert to deal with the ****.

He must have practised keeping clean sheets at home.
