Yeah, I think they're all ****ting themselves and are so desperate to get over the line that panic strikes, which is totally understandable. The performances at the moment are not really typical examples of the team or coaching, just a scramble to see it through. If we win it then there will obviously be pressure to stay at the top bit I don't think there will be the same 'pressure cooker' feel to it.

Carra said last night that you'd expect every goalkeeper to be a good shot stopper because that's what they're paid for. The great keepers have a good all round game, which Mignolet doesn't.

But anyway, if we win the league, don't think it really matters, but he will need to improve.
      Are we winning?

i think mignolet as a keeper is fine.
he is too nervous and needs to work on his assertiveness and strength. he needs to beef up his inner chimp
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

His distribution has massively improved and in general his positioning on crosses has too. A long way to go to be really convincing but he's been okay and is definitely worth persevering with I think.

It's a 7/10 season for Mig...........good with room to improve. Not bad for his first season with us, made some excellent saves, made some clangers, but clearly needs to work on dominating his immediate area (that to me, is more important than his distribution).

Might seem harsh given that we may bringing home the title, and he's been an ever-present, but I think it's fair. It's hardly a golden era for goalkeepers in football, and it's a notoriously difficult position to fill long-term.

              Agree with that.

I had a funny feeling for a while now that he's going to bookend this season with another crucial penalty save too. We'll see.

i don't like him as for this great shot stopper business, i don't agree most of his shot stopping pushes the ball back into play, his distribution is appalling and his positioning is awful, i don't rate him at all im afraid and still think there's a big mistake left in him this season hope im wrong.

I think you are totally wrong. He's an excellent keeper, one of the top few in the league.

He's one of the worst players in our history, theres no doubt about that.

i hope your right, maybe ive become a bit obsessed with my opinion and watch his every move on the pitch and become a fault finder.

I think he is of a moderately acceptable neither here nor there quality and I am completely ambivalent about him.

my theory for whats its worth is that the teams defence gets a slagging and is seen as liverpools weak point i see it as a defence compensating for a indecisive keeper that the defence lack confidence in. but what do i know.
