He's a mixed bag and needs to improve on that score. His shot stopping is excellent and he has time to improve the rest.
It was very windy at Anfield yesterday, & the ball kept catching in it. I thought he tried to kick it short & on the deck as much as possible & only really went long when there was nothing on, or he was being closed down.

what's the difference with mignolet booting an aimless ball up field and one of the defenders or gerrard giving it away doing similar?

He did well on the whole yesterday with his feet.

i wouldn't replace mignolet - i like and he clearly has the ability and i'm confident as he develops he will improve his couple of weaknesses - ability to come of his line and command the box and also the ability to kick it

I had him as MOTM yesterday. He has his areas to work on but he wins us games. That save onto the bar at the end of the game was ridiculous and could be priceless come the end of the season.

Mignolet has saved us more points than lost, it has to be said, despite his obvious deficiencies.
            Are we winning?

Yeah still not quite sure how he got that, it went so quick I didnt even realise until the replay, dont think any/many of the players knew either despite being right next to it!

A better keeper would have tipped it over the bar, not onto the bar and back into play.

Reina would have held it, launched it down field and set up a goal on the counter.

Mignolet is just crap, end of.

Is there a super slow motion video of "the save"?

He isn't crap or excellent. If our goal is to challenge in the CL then we need a better keeper. Of our aim is to challenge for a top four place in the league then he is good enough.

Many keepers in the league make match winning saves like the tip Mig made. That is the kind of saves a keeper in the league must be able to make or he wouldn't play in the PL. He would get benched or sold.

The opposition know his weak spots. It is easy to set up a tactic againt us because of that. Cross into the box. Not that difficult. You know that he will flap at least once every game. We and the opposition expect him to do it.

So which world class teams, better than Man City or Chelsea, put crosses in the box then?

I only saw a clip on Twitter and it was impossible to see any touch on it so I'd be interested in this too.

You started it. Anyway, it was an arnagram.

                              Begovic or Casillas.
How much do you think they might cost in fees and wages?

I don't think Begovic is a bad shout, based on the very limited times I have seen him?

                              Casillas though? Cloud cuckoo land.
                              Oh I don't know.

As usual, the other side had about four once in a lifetime worldies, and because of Migs, only one of them went in. The long range swerving shot that would have found the corner and the tip over the bar were excellent saves, that final one he tipped to the underside of the bar was phenomenal.

I think one of the issues with distribution is often that our fullbacks are pushed so far up, he is forced to play the ball centrally or hit deep balls to the wings, which, a difficult pass to play well. That said, he could do better by picking the right ball and actually kicking it better...
