What you do at SAFC is not good enough for Liverpool Football Club. You need more. Some step up, some don't. Simon needed to get back to basics. He's tried to do things he's not good enough at.

If he played at LFC like he did for SAFC, long term it's not good enough, but it's a lot better than he's shown lately.

The only logical explanation is that he's been told to so do.

He'll make an ok back up keeper but not good enough to be our starter. Need new keeper in January, probably won't happen though.

Anyway, as his number one fan, I think it's only right to say that he made two excellent saves, including blocking a one-on-one at 0-0, and he kept a clean sheet. Couldn't have ask for too much more from a keeper today.

He was good. Looked like he had grown a pair today. That said, I thought Begovic was awesome again today, so dependable. If only we had signed him.

Course he has, he's been asked to play higher and play like a sweeper. He's not good enough at it. For that reason he needs to go. He's a good keeper, but he's lost confidence through playing a way that he can't do and he's cocking it up.

Back to basics today. Much better.

yeap...very good shot stopper..no doubt about that, but he is just not commanding enough... i think experience will sort that out, but for a team that is challenging for a CL spot, not good enough...we need better

You could see he had been instructed to play differently. There was no passing around at the back. Players were coming for the ball short and he was launching it everytime. Refusing to play short.

He was excellent yesterday. Caught a corner in injury time and the Kop got to their feet like he'd scored!!!

The only gripe yesterday was he took ages to take every set piece and it was pissing everyone off!

Still want a new keeper mind. We should go all out for Cech.

Played well yesterday, bailed us out bigtime when Skrtel got done by the ball in behind and he saved from Diouf, the save from Bojan at the end was great too. But still, sign Cech!!

Yep, Bojan stood there for about 3 seconds too and made it completely obvious what his pass was going to be but we still didnt suss it! Got to laugh sometimes.
