Reina went downhill after Valero left and he had to put up with Mike Fackin Kelly and then John Acthterberg. None of our keepers have actually improved under our coaching since Valero either and thats what goalkeeping coaches are for so I'd be looking at that as well as new keepers.

It's a point I've raised myself a few times. Much like Jones himself I'm amazed John is still at the club and nobody seems to have sussed that they are both ****e. You only have to watch him trying to warm the keepers up on a match day to see that. He can barely kick the ball himself.

I'm hearing rumours that he'll likely never play for the club again. The rumours state that Rodgers has finally had enough of him because he's so useless when in possession of the ball and is unable to play the sweeper keeper role to a proficient level.

It's a shame for Simon. He has the quick reflexes of a top keeper, but he doesn't command the box and he's very much an old style keeper and not suited to a team who use all XI players to keep possession.

Whilst not a huge fan, still think he'd have save both of those yesterday and wouldn't it be nice to see LFC improve a young goalkeeper for once rather than discard them?

I'd happily keep him as an understudy to a more experienced keeper.

If Rodgers has no faith in him then we have to sell him. However, with Skrtel Rodgers has proved that players can work their way back into his good books.

If the answer is Brad Jones then you are definitely asking the wrong question(s). I really hope that Rodgers/the club has a plan for January.

He has had more than a fair crack of the whip. Occasionally looked really good, but generally he is where all the uncertainty and nervousness starts. Brad Jones has done well but we desperately need to spend some serious wedge and get Lloris.

Nice bloke and everything, nice hair, that moment at Blackburn was amazing and one I'll never forget (not the comical **** ups )....but he's not a great deal better than me.
