I'm hearing rumours that he'll likely never play for the club again. The rumours state that Rodgers has finally had enough of him because he's so useless when in possession of the ball and is unable to play the sweeper keeper role to a proficient level.
It's a shame for Simon. He has the quick reflexes of a top keeper, but he doesn't command the box and he's very much an old style keeper and not suited to a team who use all XI players to keep possession.Forwards.......

Whilst not a huge fan, still think he'd have save both of those yesterday and wouldn't it be nice to see LFC improve a young goalkeeper for once rather than discard them?Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostI'm hearing rumours that he'll likely never play for the club again. I'd happily keep him as an understudy to a more experienced keeper.

If Rodgers has no faith in him then we have to sell him. However, with Skrtel Rodgers has proved that players can work their way back into his good books.
If the answer is Brad Jones then you are definitely asking the wrong question(s). I really hope that Rodgers/the club has a plan for January."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Hasn't he let in 5 shots out of something 8 on target since he came into the side?
Nice bloke and everything, nice hair, that moment at Blackburn was amazing and one I'll never forget (not the comical **** ups
)....but he's not a great deal better than me.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
