I think he's done very well in 2015 after an appalling first half to the season. He commands the area better and has pulled off some fantastic saves. His weak side is his distribution & unfortunately at this stage of his career its not join got change.

He was subjected to some attrocious back passes which put him undo undue pressure. His performances have improved as he's grown the balls to bollock the defenders. Lovren is the worst culprit for playing a cowardly back pass and his exclusion from the team has helped Mignolet

I agree with that to a certain extent mate but Mignolet just lost all confidence in himself the first half of the season and everything was going wrong for him. I would say the defenders were petrified with him in goal & Mig was petrified with the defenders in front of him. Was a nightmare combo at the start of the season.

Since 2015 though he has been very impressive. I was a big critic of him like many, but you have to give the guy credit for turning things around. He looked like he was a goner but there has been dramatic improvements in his game. His kicking and general distribution still needs serious work though. Don't think he'll ever been a top class keeper likes of Courtois & De Gea, but if he brings the 2015 form into next season i'll be happy with that.

We only scrutinize our own keeper, I'm sure most keepers have a bail out moment in games, we just don't see it

Very good point and the pass completion figures done by Opta and the like for goalkeepers backed that up last season and pretty sure I read some for this season that did likewise.

Saved what he should have but was dodgy twice with balls pumped into the box.

Still not sure about him but made some super saves yesterday. Would have liked us to have better competition for him for the GK slot this season. Impressive display yesterday anyways.

He's a good keeper. Good hands with excellent shot stopping ability. Needs to be more assertive in his decision making at times. Every goalkeeper flaps now and again and he's kept his flapping to a low level since that nightmare period last year. I wasn't sure of him in his first year but he has improved.

I'm sure I read he's had the most clean sheets of any prem' keeper in 2015. Seems a bit unlikely but fair play to him if true.

Yeah good point, I'd forgotten that. My mind doesn't seem capable of going back any further than the Stoke humiliation.
