The whistle is to inform the player he can take the free kick. It was great opportunism from Luiz though, who had a great all round game i thought. I never thought he'd be a great CB but he has turned into one.

it was a huge error & regardless of whether he would have saved a free kick like that, it would have been nice if he was actually looking at the ****ing ball. One of Mig or Karius needs to go in the summer, most likely Mig as Karius is here a wet day and this **** has been going on for years. A top class keeper, no matter what the cost has been be a priority IMO.

have to agree, top top class keeper no bargain basements. Karius can be understudy I wouldnt be too happy going into next season as Karius number 1 to a dodgy understudy but i fear this may be the case.

He was at fault but the mistake was to even concede a corner in the first place. It was just sloppiness from our part.

As for Mignolet himself, not sure why he didn't think of punching that ball. It had no pace and the ball was quite low to even try and catch it. One step forward and two back.

This is the main problem we have, we always look capable of letting a goal or two in and completely incapable of scoring from set pieces, we're really bad.

As for Mignolet, I have to say that he is probably and possibly the worst footballer to have ever played for this club, he is really ****ing bad.

Just had a look at the list of LFC players by number of appearances. The answer is yes, and to say comfortably is putting it mildly.
