To be fair, my nan would have saved that Peno, and she's been dead for years. Was a shocker.

He ****ed me off royally on Saturday, but made three big, big saves tonight. Saves he should make tbh, but he doesn't always make those saves. His consistency - or lack of - is a problem. But since about January he's been excellent more often than not. Unless we sign someone like Oblak - which is never gonna happen - I'm not sure where the upgrade is gonna come from and we've clearly got to stick with him (and his deputies) this season.
I think it comes down to him being a good 'shot stopper' but not commanding his penalty area.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He can be commanding but as most of our players, can succumb to a rush of blood and lose all ability.
          Are we winning?

Those often go in when a keeper picks a side and dives early. Him and Achterberg clearly sussed him out so he stood and waited for the pen down the middle. Deserves credit.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He didn't have the best game on Saturday, but he was in fine form towards the end of last season and did as much, if not more than anyone else to get us into the CL.

You can't help but feel that Mognolet would benefit from having a commanding Centre Back in front of him more than anyone else in the team. Lovren is soooo unpredictable.

Saying it was an easy save does him and the staff a disservice. They'd clearly done their homework.

Stick a Hyypia character in front of Mig and he'd look much better.

In fact, imagine how good Hyypia in his pomp would be in this team.

His penalty record is brilliant yet for whatever reason I don't think he's thought of as a specialist in that area. Reina was and I'd bet Mignolet has a far better record.

The pen last night though... He should have caught it

Aww man. I said the same at the weekend. £2.5 what would he be worth now.

Their Vogt CB was a converted midfielder and made nearly 100 passes with well over 90% success. He was so comfortable is the point I'm trying to make whereas we look like we fear the ball.

To be fair that Vogt was probably their MOTM. He had a very good game.

Was thinking this morning as much as i am not convinced Mig is the right answer, Cech has hardly helped Arsenal has he?

The problem is a lot deeper than a new keeper.

I'd swap Mig for Cech in a heartbeat.

Even though he was better yesterday he still worries me a lot. Also, when you consider he didn't realise Gnarby was offside when he was beaten on his near post pretty easily. Luckily he was offside because Mignolet would have been crucified otherwise.
