He did play in some matches though, u21s too, but at least to me he never stood out. Btw I think he was on trial at the same time as Vilyan Bijev, they were both very impressive then but pretty **** afterwards.

Texeira on a season long loan to Bologna, anyone heard of that?

So no Texeira in U21 either. We're going to get our a**** handed to us against manure. And they're not even that good either.

So what? The point of the u21 is that the players become good enough for top tier football and we've moved half of that team either to our senior squad or to clubs like Almeria, Groningen and Bologna - mission successful, I'd say.

I often check the youth/reserves thread on rawk because it's much more active there, anyway someone said he'd impressed them when our youth team played them a few weeks ago so they signed him.

I think now there is no NextGen series (not even sure if we were in it this year mind) then it's even more important that our best youngsters go out on loan, as they'll get better experience doing so than playing in the U21 league.

They play Napoli next Sunday, that would be good to watch if he was playing.

Almeria play Villareal tonight, hopefully Suso will play.
