    LONGHURST JOINS LIVERPOOL
Posted on: Thu 25 Jul 2013

Chelsea Ladies' Kate Longhurst has joined Liverpool Ladies during the mid-season break.
The striker had been with the club since 2011 and scored in the 2012 Women's FA Cup final against Birmingham City.
This season, however, her opportunities have been more limited and the move will see her re-united with former Blues manager Matt Beard.
Everyone at Chelsea Football Club would like to thank Kate for all her efforts.

TBH, the title makes it sound like a prison.

Edit: Not now it is changed though

I thought it sounded like one of those obscure sounding South American footballers!

Well, you know. I happen to think that our ladies should get the same chance to succeed as our men do.

If our ladies win the league then I will celebrate as much as I would do if the men would win it.

Can you imagine if the ladies win the league. We'll have to constantly hear jokes as to how good our ladies team is and how **** our mens team is. Much like Arsenal have done for many years.

That's why we've brought in a big gun in the form of Longhurst.

Yes but that is just me. I want my kids to grow up that way. I don't want them grow up thinking that a women is worth less than a man.
