Maybe we could have a separate sub forum for the ladies team then in th same way we have an off field speculation. The separation may inspire a few to take more of an active interest as (unlike this thread) you'd know the context of the post.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I'm not sure that a sub forum is warranted at the minute but I do think a thread might be worth while. What do people think? If people are keen I'll just rename this thread and delete some of the less contentful posts.Originally posted by Rowan View PostMaybe we could have a separate sub forum for the ladies team then in th same way we have an off field speculation. I think there are few teams taking this seriously, but Liverpool is one of them. One Icelandic international was playing for Chelsea but quit and said it was unprofessional, too little training etc.Originally posted by dww View PostArn do you know if we have strengthened more than other ladies teams this summer?* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

We signed a few very good players. You don't need to make big investments just show that you mean business, show that you want to give the players a fair chance.
I think it is because women football is almost as big in the US as men football. A decade or so ago it was even bigger. We have american owners.......
I think our owners just like me think that in 10 years or so the women game will be much bigger. If you already are at the top when that happens then you don't need to invest big money. Cheaper to do it now.Stop the cyberhate
