Thanjk you.

I think Arn is right on a lot of points and his endless repetition serves to redress the balance.
Would anyone object to FSG selling 50% of the club to a sugar daddy who gets us a few top names on £200k+ a week and get the stadium sorted sooner rather than later?
Because that's what we need to ensure success.
FSG's model is overly reliant on FPP being enforced and it looks like other clubs are just pissing all over it.
Sugar Daddy for the win.
We are LFC - get back to where we should be on the pitch whatever the cost and we'll be a commercial giant able to clear the debts in no time at all.
A sugar daddy would probably bring us instant success but what if FFP is enforced ? We would be screwed. Those who think FFP is a joke will point to PSG, City, Monaco etc. and their spending but for those clubs what is the alternative to spending wildly ? If they tried to follow the rules they would go back to what they were before - obscure clubs that no one gave a **** about. So they gamble and spend insane amounts in the hope that FFP will not be properly enforced, that is not a gamble I would want this club to take.
its you being a cunt towards another member of the forum.
the day you own est you can get rid of all the people you dont like. until that moment you just have to shut up and accept that Arn has a differing opinion to you. and that he's entitled to it.
your posts have this undercurrent of snideness and bitchiness to them. When you get found out its
Not sure why people are on about sugar daddy's buying us. Made this point a few times. With clubs voting for FFP (incl. Chelsea), it's pretty much ensured that there will be no more sugar daddy's coming in to the PL. Abramovich has protected his position now that he's spent £800m etc.
I think a lot of people are interested in seeing how FFP works out, especially how the external projects like those happening at City and PSG are factored in.

I think it is reasonable to assume that City and Spurs have significantly strengthened though.
True, it remains to be seen by how much though. Spurs have signed two first team players but I think they look vulnerable in areas, cb for example. Bale may leave at the end of the window too.
Last season we turned around some relegation from the back end of the season before. If we improve by the same again, I really can't see us being miles away from 4th.

I still think we'll sign two more as well.
I'm not particularly worried about Spurs it's Arsenal who are the team we have to overtake for 4th, as the table posted showed they got as many points as Utd in 2013 and have finished in the top 4 I think it's 14 years in a row, going to very difficult.

I'd worry about Spurs, when was the last time we were ahead of them in the league?

Must be five seasons now.
The thing which really cost us last year were a mass of totally ridiculous errors and a total lack of cutting edge in the first few months of the season but we seemed to have cut that down by the end of the year. If we can come out of the traps next year and achieve more shut outs by minimising individual cock ups I honestly believe we'll be there or there abouts. We're about two players short of being a proper prospect.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

They've finished above four seasons in a row but that was down to our decline more than their brilliance, we''ll be stronger and more consistent I believe this season while they will probably lose Bale.
