They seem to be a side geared up to counter attack so we need to be careful when the fullbacks go forward making sure we cover in behind.
On the flip side of that being at home the emphasis is on them to attack more which may leave them more exposed defensively.Comment

We've been defensively MUCH improved since we ditched Skrtel from the starting XI. Very confident that we'll be able to exploit the weaknesses in that Villa team especially after them getting the extra game before we face them.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostComment

Was always going to be tough but after seeing them beat Arsenal and put that performance in at Chelsea, we'll be doing very well to take 3 points there.
Definite pen they should have had! Ivanovic should have went at 1-1 and went on to score the winner as well as Cech making 2 or 3 great saves.Vive la FranceComment

This will be tough, a big test of our midfield resilience especially as they like to hit on the counter and we can't leave ourselves too exposed as they will punish us as they showed us at Anfield and how they have scored in their last 2 games against opposition who finished higher in the league than ourselves.
Defensively Toure is going to be vital against Benteke, someone who has the strength to match him physically and won't get bullied by him, shut down Benteke and you essentially shut down villa
Same team or maybe Henderson moving more advanced on the right replacing Aspas with Allen in the middle to add a bit more protection?
