in the vid he looked quite decent and composed against some ****e spanish team...
does he need some time on loan over here were he will have to be a little stronger, maybe a few old scars to make him look tougher.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Manchester United are still in with a chance of signing Germany international Mats Hummels from Borussia Dortmund - but the deal could now be scuppered by arch-rivals Liverpool according to the Daily Mirror. The paper reports that United and Dortmund are close to agreement on a £20 million switch - but only thanks to the Bundesliga side's entering talks with Liverpool over a replacement, namely young Portuguese defender Tiago Ilori. The German club see Ilori - who would join on loan - as a possible replacement for Hummels. The paper claims that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers would need to sanction such any such move.

Got injured v Brondby unfortunately.Originally posted by ronanm View PostWonder what the deal is with this lad? Someone on here said he hasn't featured in pre-season at all? If he's not injured, seems very odd. Dortmund linked with a loan deal. He's look pretty good from the small bits I've seen of him. £7m for a perennial loanee seems odd?!

Help United sign Hummels then loan Dortmund his replacement? Hmmm sounds so very tempting.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostManchester United are still in with a chance of signing Germany international Mats Hummels from Borussia Dortmund - but the deal could now be scuppered by arch-rivals Liverpool according to the Daily Mirror. Not sure how much truth there is in it tbh, but, if they really want Ilori, surely we should be using that to help ourselves, we certainly shouldn't be in any reus to help utd that's for sure!

Then hopefully we can do a Chelsea and sell him on for a massive profit. I'll be disappointed if we are relying on Ilori 2015/16, as it means the Sakho/Lovren partnership hasn't worked out.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI'd be worried he wouldn't want to come back at the end of the loan to be honest. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Exactly.Originally posted by baronvonskidmark View PostHasn't Klopp said Hummels (or Reus) won't be leaving Dortmund?
Dunno who to believe - the Mirror or Klopp?
And to think the deal hinges on an unproven reserve player going to them on loan seems just a wee bit far fetched.

ilori may be the third choice CB for next year, and he can also cover the RB/RWB position too.Originally posted by RedReet View PostThen hopefully we can do a Chelsea and sell him on for a massive profit. the lad has looked rapid and a decent reader of the play. he could be our mainstay at the back for years to come.
he needs a loan over here to get him more used to the pace of english football. would he get that at dortmund?removing all the weak links makes us stronger

They look shot, devoid of ideas (by their ludicrously high standards anyway). They clearly need a change of manager but I'd also say their first team is in need of a rebuild too. End of a era for them? Could be.
