Though game tonight, but we stand a decent chance. I hope we don't change much from the previous games as we have gotten through them well, and I'm not much for changing a winning team.
I can easily see Sakho starting on the bench with Agger and Toure starting (if the later is fit) and Wisdom on rb. Or Toure will be put out there to make room for either Sakho or Skrtel.
And it's nice to be able to sit back and think Swansea have to focus on the away game at Valencia on Thursday as well. Though 3 days for them, and it will be interesting to see if they prioritize something...
Laudrup definitly rates the EL trophy, not least as he sees it as a way to a bigger job in the future.
Even though it is very early and we are absolutely not yet title contenders, I'm feeling the sort of pressure and excitement last felt in Rafa's 08-09 season. Every single match seems to matter. To keep this run going would be great. Overall I'd be satisfied with a point but I think Swansea are very beatable. Another win would set us up for a great week.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Still some time before the match (o how I hate thee, international break), so I thought to share some of my feels.
When I cast an eye over the team and compare them to squads of Liverpool past, even Rafa's, I'm genuinely chuffed at our present options. Maybe we're slightly light in midfield, especially cover for Lucas, and could perhaps do with one more starting winger and competition for rightback, but when was the last time we could boast of two beastie forwards in Sturridge and Suarez, and a competitive defence instead of a shoe-in one.
Oh, don't forget the sheer pace we have at our disposal now. We were crying out for some for the longest time, and we have one of the fastest -- and robust -- defences in the league. Not too shabby upfront too with the Sturge, Moses and the two young'uns, Sterling and Ibe. Chomper, Coutinho, Aspas and Henderson are no slouches as well.

Good point. When the going gets though, the though get going!
