I get that too, but to get all celebratory about it as if something has been achieved is a bit small-time imo. Nothing has been achieved so far. There are 35 games of the league season to go. I know we've had a **** few years, but since when did we celebrate 3 league wins as if it was a major achievement?

Utd's demise is as exaggerated as Arsenal's (after one game ). They may not win the league but I still think they'll finish above us.

Start of the season is different though, and even if it is way premature we are top. Let the man be happy if he wants.

No club since the inception of the PL has won their first 3 games without conceding. And 1 of those 3 was beating the Mancs, and our 2012-13 23-goal leading scorer is back in two games so I see no reason not to milk it!

IMO it is different to a streak mid-season. We are unblemished - 9/9, 0 goals conceded. It feels really good. Obviously one game at a time but the next 6 are winnable. I think we'll win at Swansea. Imagine if we do. 4/4, and a home game v Southampton. At this stage the possibilities are limitless. We have a great chance of being top, or somewhere close to the top, after 10 games.

Yes but it's not just three games, this optimism comes off the back of a great pre-season, a great post Christmas points performance and some very, very good signings (Sturridge, Coutinho, Sakho, Mignolet etc).
