Who knows. We haven't played any yet.
      Oh I don't know.

Are there any 'stronger' teams in the league? Seems like anyone can beat anyone at the moment.

I think that will change after Xmas when new managers have got their ideas across, new players have settled etc. that's why it's so important for us to keep getting results like yesterday.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

You don't think opposition fans are quietly worried about when we'll start 'clicking'?

I suspect that it will be badly suited to better teams using similar tactics to Sunderland but could work well in other situations against good teams. In general though I think a back 3/5 tends to mean you lack a player in a midfield area for little benefit unless the opposition is looking to use wingers or two strikers.

                    ....... is the right reply
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Skrtel - Like a dog with a bone. No fkups from him, positionally or otherwise. This time last season he'd already cost us around 4-6 points
Sakho - Not bad for a 3rd/4th game, was under the kosh at times but performed

Enrique - Competition and criticism is actually making him worse. The opposite of Skrtel
Lucas - Lots of fouls, that's about all I remember
Gerrard - Better game, got forward a lot more. Better use of the ball too
Moses - Overawed at times, running down blind alleys, etc. But also some good sharp spins in the middle that turned defence into the SAS show and made Sunderland cack their pants. Did better than I first gave him credit
Henderson - Back to a Dalglish day performance, crossing wasn't great and at no time tried attacking the full back. Sunderland tried to get him on the ball as much as possible
                      SAS - No comments needed

Rodgers - not letting pride get in the way of a correct formation. Made up for the Southampton debacle in no time.
I thought Skrtel and Sakho had very good games. Very solid in the back especially given that they had very little time to work together.

In terms of Hendo, I get why BR put him on the wing to provide defensive support to Kolo but he was complete wasted there offensively just like he was with Kenny.

He can't cross, he is not direct, can't take a man etc. which not his fault as he is a CM and that's where he needs to play when he is given the chance to play.

I think he believes that is what is happened, just that his perception and what actually happened are not the same.

Yeah possibly but City, for sample, have so many more star players that injuries or suspensions won't affect them as much as it does us. I'm sure we will strengthen our midfield at Xmas so if we can stay fit & stay thereabouts till then we could go ok.

Yes but we have several match winners and the makings of league winning side with some of the younger players.

I do hope we get into the CL and we convince Suarez to stay. Watching him against Sunderland reminds me of how important he is to our team and the change it brings about in the opposition's mentality.
