it's not surprising is it with chelsea - their form/peformance is just reflecting their managers attitude

he probs thinks he's being clever - lowering expectation thus taking pressure of his players, put the focus on him, plus by telling everyone who will listen, every week, that all his strikers are **** and that he has some players who are only interested in big games....he was prob hoping they'd all go "**** that prick, i'll show him, i'll go and score 7 past Palace"

but it's not worked at all and it's like his 'camera personality' has now become reality and passed on to the players.



i still hope they have some fight in them and try and get something out of the CL - i'll be pissed if mourinho just comes out and says...."its over" so they don't bother turning up for the 2nd leg. It would just be typical mourinho trying to be a billy big balls...

i want them to go all out and throw everything into that second leg - worst case then will be they go out but they're ****ing mentally and physically and they've slipped out of the league equation. Best case - they fight and scrape through and then have another two tough games with extra travel and preparation

Whats Mourinho doing to his squad morale as well? Naming and shaming players after mistakes or bad performances...

His approach of 'calling out' players (the defence last night) is not dissimilar to what Timmy is doing at Spurs. I can't see it having the required affect this season - certainly not with Torres, who requires more 'arm round the shoulder' management.

The fat Tony Pulis appears to be having some sort of meltdown and I just can't see them winning the league. After his constant slagging off of the players and negative comments regarding their title hopes the teams confidence looks shot. I expect them to fall away now making it a 2 horse race between us and City.

i tell these players they're ****.....that'll give them a bit of fire in their belly, they'll come out and score and then i can say it was part of my plan to motivate them..
