I wouldn't rule is out if we drew at either City or Chelsea and lost the other. Lose 2 of the 3 to our rivals and no a chance. If we lost to Spurs then we need to win the next 3.

If it was a game between robots who had no emotions singular results wouldn't mean much. But beating Spurs at WHL would devastate them and give us so much hope and confidence going into the next two away games.

Win at WHL and with Arsenal playing Chelsea next week, we could be top going into the game against City.

OK, I'm prepared to stick my neck out and say that we've got a great chance of qualifying for Europe next year. But there is still an awful lot of football to be played yet.

If we beat Cardiff and Chesea draw against Arsenal then we go top on goal difference i think

If we beat Cardiff and Arsenal don't win then we will be top unless Chelsea win by about 7.

edit: Our goal difference is 7 better already so if we win they will need to beat Arsenal by at least 8 to even just tie on GD. We've outscored them so they probably need to win by 9 for us not to be top!

5 or 6 points from our next 3 and ****ing hell, we'll be in an amazing position with most of the tough aways done. Any more than that and they might aswell start engraving our name on it already.

Its hard not to get excited, might not be the best squad we've ever had but we've got ****loads of spirit and can belt in goals v anyone.

Manchester City fear Sergio Aguero could be out for SIX WEEKS with calf injury

The striker scored his 19th goal in 20 games against Arsenal on Saturday, before limping off to hand Manuel Pellegrini a worry

Manchester City will today discover the extent of Sergio Aguero’s calf injury - with fears he could be out for up to six weeks.

Aguero left the Etihad Stadium on crutches on Saturday, with his right leg encased in a protective plastic boot cast from the knee down.

The striker plundered his 19th goal in 20 games this season in City’s 6-3 win over Arsenal, before pulling up with the problem in the 47th minute.

Aguero was unable to carry on and City boss Manuel Pellegrini said a scan today would reveal the seriousness of the injury to his leading striker.

If City’s worst fears are confirmed and Aguero has suffered a grade two or even grade three muscle tear, the 25-year-old is looking at a six-week lay-off.

City skipper Vincent Kompany has been sidelined for a total of three months this season with groin and thigh injuries, restricting him to nine appearances.

Kompany admitted rushing back too soon from his first injury played a part in his second, longer lay-off, a scenario City will not want to repeat with Aguero.

Despite his importance to City, Aguero will be given as much time as possible to recover fully, even if that means losing him for a sustained period of time.

Aguero is facing the prospect of missing Premier League games against Fulham, Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Swansea, as well as Blackburn in the FA Cup.
