It would be ace to win it for Stevie! I hope we do. It's possible we could. But i think it's unlikely we will as we are prone to dropping points in away games (as are others but not as much as us! & we make life hard for ourselves!) There's just this slight bit of inconsistency from us...but i hope tonight has taught us some vital lessons.

All ifs buts & maybes! Lets just watch the rest of the season & see what unfolds

Has anybody else noticed that Suarez and Sturridge actually hate each other. They rarely join the team cuddle if the other scores.

I think Sturridge takes the selfish option quite often and Suarez will have a go at him if he is in a good position to pass to. Sturridge often will react with scorn. Or at least that's what it seems like from limited camera angles. I've seen Suarez do it too and the same result, just vice versa. Secretly, I'm sure there is a little bit of competition in terms of goals too.

Notice how there is always somebody else present though, apart from the 3rd picture, but as you can see in that, Sturridge is in no mood of Suarez' ****.


Best thing to do is to lock them in a room with each other and let them go at it.

We're one or two players from a title winning team to be honest. Shame we didn't get Kono or Salah but I don't think they'd have made a huge difference except for squad depth.

For me we to ship out Toure and Kelly and get a some CL level defenders and a good backup keeper.

Bellamy to score the winner against chelsea in cardiff, we beat Newcastle well......and City will be 0-0 with West Ham until 5 mins till the end when Aguero will win it for them again....

Expecting us to, and beliving we can are two entirely different things.

We know our home form is good enough to do it and our remaining away matches are

Southampton
Manchester United
West Ham
Norwich
Palace

They're all tough games. West Ham have got a bit of wind in their sail and Norwich/Palace are fighting for their lives.

The good thing is that a fixture pile up is on the cards for City and Chelsea. Arsenal might be able to focus on the league if they lose to Bayern and they're capable of putting a run together once again.

It will be tight. Very tight.

but personally i'd rest gerrard/henderson/coutinho/sterling/sturridge/suarez

extreme yes - but we simply cannot afford any of them to pick up knocks if we want to challenge for the title.

I've strapped myself in for a title challenge. I don't think we'll win it, I won't care if we don't really unless it's an unbearable near miss/throwaway....all I want for now is Champions League football, but I think we're in the race to the end. **** me.

Not good for the nerves though. Our expectation levels is rising every match and if we **** it up, it will be really frustrating. We've been waiting for that for 20 odd years FFS, makes the tension even more unbearable.

I've got to say though, it's ****ing brilliant going back home after a win like this. Was on my way to central London last night and the atmosphere in the tube was brilliant.
