I'm hoping that City and Chelsea are neck and neck for this reason. If Chelsea only require a point against us then that hypoprick of a manager will bring the bus onto the pitch. If he has to worry about City as well then he will have to push for a win. That gives us more of a chance.Originally posted by SB View PostThe Chavs at our place will be hard to break down if Maureen decides to park the bus.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Whether Chelsea are neck and neck, or even behind City, Jose will come for a point. Jose would rather take a point, than risk going for 3 points - but ending up with zero.Originally posted by jono View PostI'm hoping that City and Chelsea are neck and neck for this reason. I just hope that Chelsea have a long run in the CL this season. Im actually more concerned about them than City now - who seem to have started stuttering at just the wrong time.
Before we play Chelsea on the last weekend of April, we have the following 7 fixtures: ManU (A), Cardiff (A), Sunderlan (H) Spurs (H), West Ham (A), Man City (H) & Norwich (A).
If after those 7 games we are within 3 points of Chelsea - its well and truely on!Last edited by magicalbarnes; 05-03-14, 12:47 PM.

I'd say I've been one of the most positive posters on here in terms of LFC in the last few months. It's been a sea of negativity and panic from most of you on here until recently. That said I can't see us finishing above 3rd. We're in the race now for sure, but we're the big outsiders. It's Chelsea or City's to lose.
We need something magical like 9 wins out of 10. We've got to go for the jugular in every game, starting with Man United. If we can gut them then the whole league will fear us

Every team is going to drop points, including us. We really need to concentrate on 4th, nevermind 1st. One single week could see us scrapping for fourth again.
Having said that, we are in a great position but one or two injuries could harpoon us straight out the race.
I ****ing hope Woy has got due warning from Brendan about tonight.
