If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Before today, Chelsea looked capable of grinding out results every week. You just don't feel that with City, especially with Aguero injured. Just a shame Kompany only misses Fulham.

Not quite, just need City to drop a couple of points.

I think we are as good as anybody in the league at the moment.

I thought Kompany gets three matches off?

Nope. Violent conduct gets three, red card for 2 yellows is 1. Prfessional foul I think is also 1 (might be 2).

Second red card in a season adds 1 extra game on to whatever the standard punishment would be for the most recent red.

I assume that's his first straight red this season?

Although points-wise it's in City's hands, if you factor in they're fixtures - it really isn't. Especially considering that they have started to wobble at the wrong time.

If you look at they're remaining fixtures - there's so many potential bannana skins

                      Manchester City v Fulham
                      Manchester United v Manchester City
                      Arsenal v Manchester City
                      Manchester City v Southampton
                      Liverpool v Manchester City
                      Manchester City v Sunderland
Manchester City v West Bromwich Albion
                      Crystal Palace v Manchester City
                      Everton v Manchester City
                      Manchester City v Aston Villa
Manchester City v West Ham United

Bigtime, they'll drop plenty of points I think though I expect Everton to throw that game against them if we're top or very few points behind City by then.

My wife was just asked who she reckons would finish in the top four. This was her answer:

                              Butlins
                              The paparazzi
                              The government

                              Oh I don't know.
