Still though....even though yesterday was a decent result, it was helped by Hull's inept forward partnership and with away games to the likes of us, ManU, Arsenal, Everton it'll be seriously tough for them, as long as Chelsea and us put together wins.
If they come through ManU and Arsenal (think they have them only 4 days apart) with max points, then probably yes."I will make the boys feel your support"

How realistic is that we will win 10 out of 10?Originally posted by Mattshark View PostHow about we win every game and city draw or lose at Everton? We win the league with that.
In fairness, regardless the fact that we play Chavs, City and Spurs at home our remaining schedule is tougher than the one for Chelsea or City.
For me given what happened yesterday it is for City to lose.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Tougher than being in the top 4 when the best we were expecting was 6th?

Actually really looking forward to the derby today.......think Sherwood might actually blow a gasket today, although if Spurs win or lose, he wins. Will probably slate the players again, before joining in with the other Arsenal fans to celebrate."I will make the boys feel your support"

Not true. We are 4 points behind Chelsea. 1 behind City. We are an uneven number of points. One point for us wouldn't be a bad result at some stage. If we are talking about winning the title, we will need to win all our home games. United is our toughest away game left. A draw against them wouldn't be the end of the world by any means.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostDrawn games are as good as losses at this stage of the season. Cannot afford any drops. Any of the 4 teams. Whoever puts their run together will be champions. Obviously.
Of course, a win against them would be great. And if we could beat them, we may end up facing against one of City & Chelsea NOT needing to win which would obviously be ideal.
I think, bottom line, winning all our games would hand us the title, as City will drop points. Chavs will drop more points. But I think for sure we will also. So drawing with United would not kill my hopes.Forwards.......

I hear ya
You always have to plan for the worst case scenario......would we like to win every remaining game ? Course we bloody would, but the bottom line is gaining or recovering one point is unlikely to shape things in your favour, even if they're games against your direct rivals who you are trailing.
The top 4 are not going to win every game left obviously, but if we found ourselves in position where we hope for something to happen to Chelsea or City on the last weekend, it would hardly be ideal.
Aim to win every game etc etc, even a loss and win is better than drawing two games etc etc
In either case we need a win today, as they are not one of our rivals league title-wise.
Loss or draw is dropped points today IMO."I will make the boys feel your support"

but if we do, we only need city to draw one more game and we're Champions.
