Wow, from cautious optimism to planning where to be to celebrate the title, lol. Let's be honest lads, it was a ****e Man United that we beat. I know they're a massive rival and it's a pressure game, but they are nothing special this season. I said before the game, the result against So'ton was the biggest result. They're a far more dangerous outfit when on their game, particularly as their strengths target our weaknesses in a way in which Uniteds didn't.

A way, we've got some tough fixtures coming up that will only get tougher as the pressure ramps up. And sadly, due to the gap already we have to close, we are realistically only one bad result away from being out the race. But I'm definitely going to enjoy this whilst it lasts. We are capable of winning it so it's hard not to get carried away with things. We'll know it's truly on when we start thinking of getting Enrique back so we can get him to ten games so he can win a medal
    Forwards.......

Those that killed her, were following the law.

But we've been in the mix from day 1 and people keep moving the goal posts. It's an easy start, let's see where we are after 10 games, let's see where we are after Christmas, let's see where we are after the Jan transfer window etc. There are 9 ****ing games left and we've as good a chance as anybody and had played consistently well for 15 consecutive months and are deservedly in a strong position. Chelsea have been lucky to get a few results and you hoped they'd be found out sooner or later, but it's hard to argue that we haven't deserved almost all our points even if we did have a few scary moments in the dying moments of matches.

I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it while it lasts.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

basic, like an indoor refugee camp. three to a room, for £50 on fri/sat, might be about £30 on sun/mon though.

no team is ever going to win every single game...you will always drop points here and there

that said - when you look at us, i'd say we've so far had nearly as good as a season as we could have possibly hoped for...

only really disappointing league results have been

Southampton H - lost - played poorly and southampton we on fire
Newcastle A - Draw - two points dropped
                  Hull A - lost - dreadful performance
Villa H - draw - poor 45 mins cost us
                  West Brom A - Draw - poor

they are the ones for me that look dropped points - i know we could argue say city/chelsea away we could have won but they weren't games you would expect to win....

i'd say had we done the following..
scrapped a draw against southampton +1
                  Newcastle - won - +2
                  Hull - scrapped a draw - +1
                  Villa - win +2
                  West Brom - win +2

Had we done something like that then it would have been pretty much as perfect as a season has we could hope for. In fact allowing for a couple of poor results - say villa and west brom as draws...

for me the newcastle/southampton/hull results are the really frustating ones - a win and two draws, four points - would see us level with chelsea with a game in hand.

Me, my bro and a mate are heading down on the train from North Wales on the Sunday regardless of whether we're in with a shout or not so we'll be there reasonably early getting leathered ha ha!!

I'm off on the Monday too so if there is a parade I'll be heading down again!

There's also a Youth Hostel near the Formula 1 opposite the Echo Arena as well the Ibis, cheaper hotels.

I'm of the opposite opinion. All teams drop points against weaker teams. It happens.

But if you want to win the league, you have to beat the top 4. There are games there which are six pointers. If you lose them all, you shouldn't win the league. If you win them all, then you really should be winning the league too.

So far, we've lost the three away games and won the one at home. Two more wins against City and Chelsea and it'll show that we're pretty close. Lose them, and it shows that we have more work to do to close that gap.

Those two away defeats are what have cost us top spot. We'd have been flying if we'd beaten them both.
                          Oh I don't know.

                            yeah fair enough

either way it shows how good we have been and how tight it is this year. 4 teams with 8/9 games to go, only 6 points separating them and thats with city having games in hand! and all 4 have strong arguments for going on to win it.
