I can see them dropping three points at Anfield, while I'm struggling to see any games where we're likely to drop points.

I watched their game against Arsenal today and the level of football we're playing is much higher than what they're playing. Today they got two early goals by counter-attacking at home. Then a soft penalty (and red card) for handball when the ball was going two feet wide. A crazy decision by the Arsenal player.

After that Chelsea picked them off on the break using the extra man. They were also aided by a terrible fumble by the Arsenal goalie for one soft shot.

Even though we conceded three daft goals today (against a team that beat Chelsea 3-2!) our football was far more impressive than Chelsea's.

As for Arsenal, they were utterly abysmal, truly shockingly bad even when they had eleven on the pitch. There's no way they'll finish above Liverpool

      3 horse race.
Bear in mind that both Chelsea and City were playing against ten men for periods of their games. Provides a little bit of perspective

As I've been saying for a while if we can avoid slip-ups against the other sides the games against City and Chelsea will give us the chance to win it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Please remember that if we keep on winning and banging in the goals we'll finish above Chelsea at least. Our game in hand and playing them at home gives us the upper hand. They could win all their other games and couldn't stop us finishing above them. So they don't need "to screw up badly". They need to stop us beating them and hope we "screw up badly" for them to finish above us.

Don't rate City either. We'll beat them by two or three at home and they'll drop more points than us in the remaining fixtures.

In summary, we're ****ing miles better than either of them, will outscore both of them, will also beat both of them and we'll win the league

            Er...I did.

I thought we'd beat Southampton by a couple and predicted on here that we'd beat the staggeringly over-rated Mancs by three goals, when a lot of wet farts on here were pissing their knickers about nothing. I expected us to beat Cardiff by about three but didn't foresee a 6-3 scoreline, more likely a 4-1.

The only tricky away game in that lot was Southampton. They other two were banker away wins.

            We'll win the league.

And I'm the least optimistic Liverpool fan in the universe. That's the result of watching us for 49 years and seeing us screw up time after time.

City rely really heavily on Toure, without him I would fancy them to drop points. At least he's 32 now and won't be beasting teams long into the foreseeable future.

Arsenal are pretty much out of it after today.

True, but he's not going to get two penalties in many more games against ten-man teams like today

Also, without Aguero they have little spark up front. Not that long ago we were miles behind City in goal scoring. Aguero gets injured a couple of times and we've zoomed ahead of them quite easily

As long as we get 3rd I'll be ecstatic. Automatic qualification to the CL would be superb and anything more is a bonus IMO. But I think we will win the league.
