    Agree totally.....

Also, I don't think they would actually necessarily get knocked out straight away

The big test for Martinez will be when he needs to replace Jagielka, Distin, Baines and Coleman. Coleman is the only one who hasn't peaked yet but it's rumoured that united wNt him for big money and when you add Howard into the mix, then he is potentially going to need to replace his entire back 5 within the next 2/3 years. Very comparable to wenger at arsenal - I reckon he had an easy start when he first joined arsenal because the defense effectively looked after themselves.... Martinez had wigan playing lovely football but they couldn't defend for ****...

Anyway..... Back to the title race...... City looked very good last night - but it's hard to judge against such **** opposition...

"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

The sheer poison and bitterness emanating from Evertonians in the last 20 years or so has meant I have grown to loathe them. They are horrible, bitter, BITTER *******s. However....there's something appealing about the prospect of being in town on the Sunday night in May when we've clinched the title and Everton have got 4th. In my naive mind it would be a great night, both sets of fans celebrating. In reality, they'd probably still be very bitter about us winning the title.......but whatever, I'd kind of love them to pip Arsenal.......mainly because Arsenal and their fans have become almost as intolerable as Everton. Cocky cunts.

I'd be thrilled with a top 3 finish. Automatic qualification to the group stage, and such a huge leap 7th place last season, with only one summer signing featuring on a regular basis (Mignolet).

I think Arsenal would drop Wenger if they finished outside the top 4, even with an FA Cup win. That could be dangerous because of who they may bring in.

The Citeh fans I know are most worried about our game and Everton- where they have a really **** record (albeit against Moyesball).
            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

City haven't conceded a goal for a while as well - think it's 5 or 6 on the trot?
                  Are we winning?

Five league games, but they've conceded in the league and FA cup as well as the Champions League.

Three clean sheets on the bounce, but we're talking Hull, Fulham and Manchester United.

This race is turning into a staring contest, with everyone waiting to see who blinks first. The tit for tat winning of games is fantastic, combined with the title being decided on the outcome of games between the challengers, should make it the best run in for years.

City have 13 wins in their last 15 league games and seem to be over their recent wobble. That's some ****ing going.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I've got a bad feeling we will drop silly points in a game and rule ourselves out, beat City at Anfield and open the door for Chelsea. Worst nightmare. Would much much rather City won it if we can't
